Minjatura Scale Model Expo is now an annual event on the Maltese calendar that brings together national and international model makers under one roof. Next year the event is taking place from the 6th to the 10th February. Organised by IPMS Malta this event features an exhibition, workshops and a contest based on the Open System of judging.
The expo is divided into sections with
detailed scale models depicting a wide spectrum of subject genres, including naval, military,
aviation, and civil historical themes, spiced up with fantasy, science fiction,
and subjects from popular movies. The objects on display may be constructed from kits, scratch-built using different materials or digitally designed and 3D printed.
