The 30th edition of Malta's Premiere Scale Model Exhibition – History in Scale was officially opened by Parliamentary Secretary for Youth and Sports Hon. Clyde Puli. The exhibition was this year held at the Malta Maritime Museum in Vittoriosa from the 11th to the 13th March.

After a tour of the exhibits consisting of models of aircraft, ships, military vehicles, figurines and dioramas, the President of the society Aldo Chetcuti gave a brief introduction about the 30 year history of the society which has strived to promote model making as an art form encompassing research, construction and painting. He thanked the management of the Museum for hosting this year’s exhibition.

The Committee and Members of the Society for Scale Modellers held a party for Sponsors, the Press and past members at their premises in Blata l-Bajda on Wednesday 26^th January to commemorate the 30^th Anniversary since the founding of the Society in 1981.
